Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) today stood up and spoke out as a voice for the working class in the halls of Congress, as Members debated an extension of unemployment insurance. Kucinich challenged the suggestion that the unemployed should be drug tested asking, "has anybody in this Congress suggested that those getting a bailout should take a drug test, those who have oil depletion allowances should take a drug test, those who were recipients of the Bush tax cuts in the top bracket should take a drug test?"
